1. Rental Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old (some vehicles may require a higher age).
You must present a valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle category (e.g., AM or B for 50cc scooters; A1/A2 or B with restrictions for 125cc models), a valid passport or ID card, and a credit/debit card for the security deposit.
Provisional licenses or CBTs are not accepted.
We reserve the right to refuse any rental at our discretion.
2. Rental Period & Booking
The rental period starts and ends at the agreed pickup and return times.
Late returns may incur additional charges (full day rate or more).
Reservations are subject to availability. We recommend confirming your booking in advance.
3. Payment & Security Deposit
Full payment is required at pickup (or as agreed).
A security deposit is required and will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in good condition (subject to inspection).
Fuel (if applicable), damages, traffic fines, towing, or cleaning fees will be deducted from the deposit or charged separately.
4. Use of the Vehicle
The vehicle may only be used by the named renter.
Sub-renting or allowing unauthorized drivers is strictly prohibited.
You must comply with all Portuguese traffic laws (Código da Estrada), including wearing a helmet at all times.
The vehicle must not be used for racing, off-road, commercial purposes, or under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
You are responsible for safe parking and preventing theft.
5. Vehicle Condition & Maintenance
You must return the vehicle in the same condition as received (normal wear excluded).
You are liable for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period.
Report any accidents or mechanical issues immediately.
6. Insurance & Liability
Basic third-party liability insurance is included as required by Portuguese law.
You are responsible for any excess/deductible, uninsured damages, or personal injury.
We recommend purchasing additional insurance if needed.
We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of the rented vehicle.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before pickup are usually eligible for a full refund (minus any fees).
No-shows or late cancellations may result in full charge.
8. General
These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
